If you are travelling with kids there is something for all ages. The Little Athletes Exploration Center Pass for 1 – 4 year olds and the Multi-sport passports for kids aged 5+ which certainly beats being couped up in a hotel room on a rainy day in New York.

Bowlmor Lanes Times Square offers visitors 48 lanes of bolwing in a unique Times Square location. Unique in that it occupies the original newsroom floor of the NewYork Times, after which Times Square is named.

If you are looking to spend some time on the lanes we recommend avoiding Thursday and Friday afternoon and evening when it can become very busy with office workers celebrating the end of a long day or week.

Visit Madame Tussauds

Location: Times Square South (234 W 42nd St, New York)
Times: 10am til 8pm most days (extended hours during summer)
Best time to go: Early morning – late evening during summer
Best way to book: Online via their website also included with the New York Pass (with VIP / fast track entry)
How much: Adults from $29.60

Madame Tussauds is the world’s leading wax museum and has been amazing visitors with its life like wax statues for over 200 years. After starting and gaining its world wide fame in London, Madame Tussauds opened in New York in 2000 in the heart of New York, Times Square.

It offers something for all ages from kids to adults and whatever their interests are they will find something they love. Madame Tussauds New York offers exhibts of famous faces from Sports stars, music moguls, political power players and even a dedicated Spirit of New York exhibition to showcase of New York’s famous faces.

Open from 10am to 8pm most days (with some seasonal changes) it is really very easy to spend a couple of hours out of the bad New York weather.

If the weather is really bad (whether it be rain or snow) we recommend buying tickets online early in the day and getting in early. Being located in Times Square it is a very popular attraction when the weather is fine.
